Training, exams and certification
Four questions, two hours, sixty marks, thirty to pass — with your own AgilePM handbook on the desk. The scenario is the exam: read it well and the marks follow.

The APMG AgilePM Practitioner certificate tests whether you can apply and tailor the framework to a realistic project scenario.
| Questions | 4 scenario-based questions, 15 marks each |

| Format | Objective testing: classic multiple choice, multiple response and matching items |
| Duration | 120 minutes |
| Pass mark | 50% — 30 marks out of 60 |
| Materials | Open book: your own AgilePM handbook, hand annotations allowed, nothing else |
| Prerequisites | AgilePM Foundation (v3) |
| Typical course | Two days |
APMG suggests ten minutes to read the scenario and about twenty-five minutes for each question. It is enough, but only if you do not search the handbook for every line. Use it to confirm, not to learn.
Multiple-response lines need both correct answers to score: one right and one wrong is worth nothing.
Each question covers several syllabus areas: the fundamentals of the framework, roles and communication, risk and the project approach, defining and estimating, planning and control. The question is rarely “what is X” and usually “what should the project do now, given X”.
You may bring the AgilePM handbook with your own handwritten notes and tabs; loose notes and printed sheets are not allowed. Tab the roles, the products, MoSCoW and the timebox structure before the exam day.
Practise full papers under time with the handbook you will use on the day. After each question, find the page that justifies the answer: that is the skill the exam rewards.

The AgilePM Foundation certificate (v3).
No. It is objective testing: you select answers, you do not write essays.
