Fifty questions in a hundred and fifty minutes, open book, thirty to pass. Three minutes a question is the most generous clock in any exam on this site — and you will want most of it.

A hundred and fifty minutes across fifty questions is three minutes each. Set against ninety seconds at Foundation, that is double — and it is the clearest signal of what changes between the two papers.

Three minutes is what it takes to read a scenario, decide which part of it the question is really about, and check the guidance if you need to. It is not spare time. Candidates who finish an hour early have usually answered from instinct rather than from the material.
You need one of two things before you may sit this paper: any PRINCE2 Agile (Version 1) certification, or PRINCE2 Agile Foundation (Version 2).
PeopleCert states that exam results are not released without proof of completion — here that means proof of the prerequisite certification, not proof of a training course. Accredited training is not required for this module. If you hold the prerequisite and prefer to work through the guidance alone, that is a supported route.
Note what is not on the list: PRINCE2 7 Foundation. The PRINCE2 Agile scheme has its own ladder, and a core PRINCE2 certificate does not climb it.
The guidance goes in with you. So does the temptation to consult it, and consulting it is where the three minutes go.
The reliable habit is to answer first and verify second: form a view from the scenario, then check the one point you are unsure of. The reverse order — look it up, then decide — costs roughly twice as long and produces no better answers.
Practise on scenarios longer than you think you need. The skill is triage: which sentence in the description is the one the question turns on.
Tab the guidance before the day. You want to open at the right page, not search for it.
Twenty wrong answers is the margin. That is wide, and it is why running out of time, not running out of knowledge, is the usual cause of a fail.
