Training is mandatory: training through an Accredited Training Organization or ITIL Official eLearning. PeopleCert states that exam results will not be released without proof of completion.
That is why the Exam Bundle is sold for re-sits only. For a first attempt, choose eLearning or eLearning+: the ITIL Official eLearning they include satisfies the training requirement.

No. This route is designed for holders of ITIL 4 Managing Professional, ITIL 4 Master, ITIL v3 Expert or ITIL v3 Master, and replaces taking Product, Service and Experience separately.
