ITIL (Version 5) launched in English. During 2026 the advanced modules have been rolled out in other languages, and November brings one more.

The exam language depends on the certification body. A course with a trainer can be taught in a local language even when the exam is in English, as with MP Transition today.
ITIL 4 remains available for those who want to finish their current path. The retirement date is 31 December 2027.
AI Governance in one line: the extension module on governing AI in services. It does not count towards the Managing Professional or Strategic Leader designations.
PeopleCert is refreshing the ITIL practice guides for ITIL (Version 5), with a dedicated AI subsection in each one.
