PRINCE2® Agile Version 1: last exam date is 31 December 2026

If you still hold a PRINCE2 Agile Version 1 voucher, you have about two months left. PeopleCert retires the Version 1 Foundation and Practitioner exams on 31 December 2026.

What to do now

  1. Book the exam now, not in December. Year-end slots fill up and you want room for a resit.
  2. If you bought Take2, sit the first attempt early enough to use it.
  3. If you have not started studying, consider Version 2 instead. Its exams are not tied to the deadline.

Is my Version 1 certificate still valid after 2026?

Yes. Certificates stay valid for the period shown on them. Only the exams end.

Can I use a Version 1 Take2 in 2027?

No. Take2 ends on the last exam date, 31 December 2026.

Can I still buy a Version 1 voucher?

No. The last purchase date was 30 June 2026.

Moving on from Version 1?
