Training, exams and certification
IASSC Lean Six Sigma exams are delivered by PeopleCert, so the PeopleCert retake rules apply: Take2, bought before the exam, gives one resit within six months; without it you buy a new exam voucher. An IASSC certification is recognised perpetually, with a Current status that lasts three years and is renewed with a recertification exam.

| Take2 | Bought before you sit the exam, at the latest 15 minutes before the session; never after a fail. One extra attempt within 6 months of the first exam; tied to that exam; non-transferable and non-refundable. Free for PeopleCert Plus members. |
|---|---|
| Without Take2 | Buy a new exam voucher. Each voucher is single use. |
| Where | Online and proctored, through PeopleCert, the Examination Institute for IASSC. |
| Validity | Recognised perpetually, with a Current status for three years. |
|---|---|
| How to stay Current | Pass a proctored, closed-book recertification exam. |
| Deadline | Before your status elapses, or within 90 days after; later, a full new certification exam is needed. |
| PeopleCert Lean – IASSC (Lean Practitioner, Leader, Expert) | Renew within 3 calendar years of the issue date with the dedicated re-certification exam. |
