Training, exams and certification
Most APMG exams are taken online with ProctorU, through the Guardian Browser and a live proctor who watches you through your webcam. Prepare one monitor, a valid government ID, a clear desk and a small whiteboard; results are released within 48 hours. If your work computer cannot install the browser, APMG offers In Person Proctoring.

| Booking | After purchase you receive a registration email and schedule your proctor appointment in the APMG Candidate Portal. Appointments are available at all hours. |

| Guardian Browser | Install it beforehand; local administrator rights help. It opens automatically when you connect to the proctor and can be uninstalled afterwards. |
| Computer | A personal computer is recommended. Not supported: Chromebooks, tablets and iPads, phones, Linux, virtual machines and Windows 10 S. One monitor only. |
| Connection | Stable, preferably wired. |
| Company devices | Share the ProctorU port allow-list with your IT team. |
| If you cannot install it | Book with APMG In Person Proctoring (AIPP); availability is limited. |
| ID | A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. You may cover unique ID numbers before showing it. |

| Notes | Notebooks are not allowed: use a small whiteboard and pen. |
| Showing your screen | A handheld mirror, reflective surface or mobile phone to show your screen to the proctor. |

| Connecting | Log in to the Candidate Portal with Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari, run the final equipment check and click Connect to proctor: the Guardian Browser opens. |

| Practical tips | Put a sign on the door; keep your candidate and exam details, your ID and a glass of water at hand. |
| Your result | Released within 48 hours. Successful candidates get a digital badge in the Candidate Portal. |

| Sample papers | Free APMG sample papers use the same online format, with an immediate pass or fail score. |
