Training, exams and certification
There is no single register for professional certifications. Each exam body keeps its own, they work differently, and most of them only show people who have agreed to be listed. This page tells you which tool answers for which certificate, and what you need in hand before you start.

Start from the body that issued the certificate, not from the subject. A PRINCE2 certificate can come from PeopleCert or, if it is older, from APMG; an ISO/IEC 27001 certificate can come from APMG, PECB or EXIN. The name of the issuer is printed on the certificate.

| PeopleCert | ITIL®, PRINCE2®, MSP®, M_o_R® and the rest of the former AXELOS portfolio. A public register, plus a verification service by certificate number. The PeopleCert register, explained |
| APMG International | Exams taken through APMG-accredited organisations, including ISO/IEC 27001 and older PRINCE2 certificates. The APMG Successful Candidate Register |
| EXIN | EXIN certificates. No public list: an authentication tool confirms one certificate at a time. How to verify an EXIN certificate |
Public registers let you search by name. They are quick, but they only contain people who chose to appear, so they can confirm a certification and can never rule one out.
Verification by certificate — a certificate number, a code, a digital badge link — works whether or not the person opted in. The catch is that you need something from the candidate first.
The fastest route is to ask. A genuinely certified candidate can send the certificate number or the badge link in a minute. With that in hand, every tool on this page gives a definite answer.
Sources. Every tool on this page was read on the exam body's own website, checked in October 2026.
Our exam simulators run each exam the way the exam body runs it — same question style, same clock, same pass mark — so the first attempt is the one that counts.
